Rain-Kissed was painted after a gentle rain in the Pacific Northwest. I often search my garden for painting inspirations. This plant lives in a pot on my patio. I wanted to capture the delicate beauty of its leaves with the raindrops clinging to them. My granddaughter is a dancer. The long overlapping leaves of this plant reminded me of a graceful choreographed dance.
