The unique perspective of this scene intrigued me. Instead of commonly viewing the mountain from afar, you're actually seeing the summit from much lower near the tree line. I found it offered a more dynamic sense of scale, with what you would typically view as the 'mountain', simply being the top portion with still a significant amount remaining below. You can just imagine in the spring melt, water flowing down the ravine from the snows high above!
