A young moose, nearly silhouetted by the bright summer sunlight, takes advantage of the cool shady spring. I enjoyed the play of the extreme brightness of the summer sun illuminating only the top most portions of this painting. I set this against the reflection of the forest and hint of aquatic plants in the slow-moving waters.
