Painted in watercolor on Arches 140lb cold press from my own photo reference. All collage papers are handmade with watercolor, acrylics, and pens using stencils or freehand patterning. The sketch was done on location. Depicting the freedom of the open range and the change of seasons, "Escape" allows the viewer's eye to roam the landscape, finding new colors, textures and layers with every glance.
