Well, I spotted this wayward onion on my kitchen counter and it wanted to be painted! I used a limited palette of 3 primary colors. I loved the simplicity of the subject and the transparent layers. This was just a personal challenge but I was delighted with the result and it is presently framed and on my kitchen wall.
