My name is Michelle Ledezma. I am thirty-two years old, and I am from La Paz, Bolivia. My entire family still lives in Bolivia to this day. Since I was a child, my dream has been to be an animator. I started drawing at the age of four when I would watch my dad draw beautiful creations by hand, which brought me immense joy. After that, I started creating my own drawings while watching Disney movies and cartoons. Drawing and making art for me has become my refuge where I can find sanctuary and be myself. Eventually, I studied Business Administration due to the lack of educational programs in the arts and animation in my country.
After coming to the United States, I knew that I had to follow my dream of becoming an animator. I love the idea of creating, animating, and sending powerful messages to audiences through my art that people can enjoy and connect with.
I married my lovely husband two years ago in Washington State. He gives me incredible support and encourages me to follow my dreams and my love for art and animation.
