I’ve been creating since I could pick up a crayon, or smear paint onto paper. However, I only began to take my creative learning seriously when my mother became disabled while I was young. My family and I were told she would be bedridden for the rest of her life, and while she was recovering at home, I began to teach myself how to create in every medium I could. Moving from Oregon to Washington at 12 years old, I continued to pursue my creative education with every opportunity I had, taking any Art classes that were available to me. After graduating from Rainier High School in June of 2022, I began my professional creative education in September at Northwest College of Art and Design, where I am today.
