Originally, I was going to school for athletic training and only changed my major to fine art my last year of college. I still love science and the medical field but taking the big jump in completely changing my career trajectory has been intimidating yet fulfilling all the same. All growing up I loved making art and doing crafts especially as gifts for birthdays and Christmas. I never thought I would become an art major and pursue this as a career but having met so many other artists and having been exposed to some of the inner-workings of the art realm, I now see the vital role art plays in the world and its increasing call to so many to share their work and make an impact for the better, and that includes me.
