Art has always been in my life. Since I was a child I always had an active imagination and tried to make art that would match the world in my head. My father actively encouraged me to pursue my art and work on developing art skills. I continued down that path as I went to school and pursued my education. Trying to learn as much as I can from art from all the different art teachers. I won't lie the schooling system stretched my patience thin as I was confined to the school's idea of creativity. I pushed through because education and art are the most important things to me. And education wasn't the only reason why I pursued art. I also pursued art to deal with my trauma and pain. As a child I had a rough home life. My family were always fighting and I was constantly dealing with abuse and neglect. Art was again one of the things that helped me through those trying times. It allowed me a safe place to deal with my big feelings and emotions. Art saved me in more ways then one. As I advance in my craft and skill I will continue to pursue art. As well as look back fondly as to how I was brought into art as well.
