My name is Allex Rogers, “Allex with Two Ls”, and I am deaf. For my whole life, I like to draw and sketch but that’s it. I never considered myself an artist because I didn’t feel like I have natural talents to be one. It’s the main reason why I wasn’t interested in having an artistic career.
Few years ago, I was suddenly interested in arts and graphic designs. I was inspirated by a friend who is an excellent artist, watched hobbyists on YouTube, and looking at NASCAR paint schemes on Instagram. Despite not being interested in arts, deep inside, I have always wanted to learn how to draw and do graphic designs.
During this period, I went through few major changes in my life, my interests weren’t working out anymore, this is when I decided it’s a perfect time to tapped into my potential artistic skills waiting to be developed. I enrolled in the art program at Big Bend Community College in Moses Lake, Washington. My main goal is to learn how to draw and becoming a graphic designer. At the same time, learn anything that has to do with arts.
