Plein Air Group
If you reside in the Seattle area or come to visit the area, ploan to be a part of our Plein Air Group. Through Spring/Summer and into the beautiful northwest Autumn, you are invited to join NWWS members and others (nonmembers welcome!) on Wednesday mornings to paint outdoor landscapes at various Puget Sound locations.
The schedule and locations are coordinated by Suze Woolf, who carefully chooses picturesque parks, lively street scenes, and industrial areas full of texture and surprise.
Plein Air Group information is available to those on a dedicated email list. If you would like to join, simply click the Sign Up link at right to send an email to Suze. A few days before each Wednesday, you will receive the information to connect with the group, such as driving directions, parking suggestions, restroom locations, who to call if you get lost, and the all-important bad weather alternative. The group begins meeting in May and often paints well into October.
