My purpose was to capture brilliant light, reflections, and strong shadows of this exquisite sunny afternoon. I backlit the two figures as they walked on the sun-drenched pathway to create colorful shadows. The addition of the tree in the foreground helps direct the viewer's eye to the brilliant streamers and lanterns.
