I was inspired to create this painting from many visits to watch the local rodeos near my home. There is a richness of community, sport and tradition that takes place on Thursday nights throughout the summers. I used watercolor as my medium because of the transparency and fluidity that expressed my ideas. The watercolor paper is Arches 140# Cold Press.
