This is a watercolor painting of my son when he was about 8 years old. The scene was 27 years ago when we were traveling the deep South. Sam, my son, was a little girl back then and I had to make sure he was OK with me painting him as a girl. Because he transitioned to male in his early thirties. I love him dearly.
