This is a painting about children of various ethnicities touring the area around Notre Dame in Paris. When I took the photo for inspiration, I noticed that they were all getting along well and were interested in what they were learning about the place. It is a statement on cooperation and the importance of history. They all have on red shirts so that their chaperones could easily find them in the crowded streets of Paris. Perhaps they were learning about the color, "red", used in religion or the French revolution.
