A full spectrum of paints is poured onto a damp surface, and another journey begins. Gravity helps merge pigments in completely unpredictable hues, tints and granulations, stimulating imagination. Progress is measured in building shapes, spatial depth, and on occasion developing narrative. Peace Pennants is a harkening to an event implying a grand celebration at an exotic location through a collection of impressions and geometrics. There is joy in developing works entirely from the imagination, and a challenge to arouse curiosity through imagery and convey emotion to viewers.
