Immigrant Women is a series of watercolor portraits of women who are immigrants live in the United States. This series is based on one-on-one interviews I conducted with them. This helps me to relate to each of them on a human level. Through painted portraits, I intend to express the shared emotions and resilience that I found in myself and in other immigrant women. Tirazheh was born in Iran, and later moved to the United States with her husband. She is an independent woman, artist, exhibition curator, and art educator.
