I saw a bird resting on a pile of driftwood on an Oregon beach. The driftwood made beautiful patterns, and I was happy that the bird found a place to rest. This painting is all transparent watercolor with the exception of a small amount of white gouache used on the bird. This painting also has 3 coats of varnish.
