lmage from a photo I took at a reenactment of the Battle of Bowlegs Creek, a little known but important battle of the civil war. After the battle of Vicksburg, which cut off access to cattle to the confederacy, the only source of cattle was Florida. This was the battle to control cattle in Florida.
