I recently captured scenes of the kitchen in a French restaurant. I particularly like this scene as it showcases the plethora of tools and equipment chefs depend on to present unique creations in the kitchen. The chef’s knowledge and creativity bring the food together, but it’s the tools that help create a delicious dish. I wanted to capture the disorderly arrangement of the utensils on the counter with the tidy display of canisters, jars and wine bottles in the background. Adding French classics to the cookbook shelves and the French chef’s apron were an appropriate addition to the scene.
