These two well preserved and very shiny Beetles were parked at a house in Punta Arenas, Chile. The wildflower garden in the foreground was in full bloom; a surprising contrast to the stucco bungalow on a dusty minor road (which I eliminated using my artistic license). I enjoy interpreting photographs from my travels, local nature and flowers in the watercolor medium. I prefer honey-based, French Sennelier watercolors for their smooth dispersion quality. The paper is 300lb Hot Pressed Italian Fabriano Artistico.
