"A Basket Full of Lemons" started as a project for students. The intent was to demonstrate composition, design elements and principles in a still life. It took several sessions to finish, and upon completion I was very pleased with the result. With strong contrast to direct your eyes to the lemons, other elements offer enough interest to keep the viewer exploring around the picture.
