Wang – Playing with Unconventional Tools – Part 2

August 2024
Paul Wang
Singapore, Singapore

“Don’t forget to artfully Wonder & Wander!”

This recording is the second of two Paul Wang Workshops International workshops. NWWS asked Paul to do a second workshop due to his popularity and the huge demand for his first workshop, which far exceeded workshop capacity. The subject matter in both Part I and Part II recordings is similar but also unique, as some people repeated the workshop a second time!.

Paul Wang is a passionate art and design educator from Singapore. Inspired by his interior architecture and stage design training, his sketches are always bursting with dramatic colors. His strokes and splashes may look spontaneous but are intentionally choreographed. Paul’s use of vivid colors and distinctive lines seeks to encapsulate our ever-changing world.

This workshop recording is a special opportunity to explore joyful expression with both traditional and unconventional tools. Paul has a unique way of capturing the urban landscape using sketches to tell stories, a process that leaves monotony behind. His passion for the playful is ever present and infectious, and with his encouragement, you’ll soon be creating bold and lyrical marks, adapting them to create movement-inspired paintings. A valuable workshop for all skill levels.

Length: 3 hours.
