It is once again time to change the paintings hanging at Overlake Hospital. This will take place Sunday, March 25, 2012.
          Members of the Northwest Watercolor Society are encouraged to display their art in this well visited venue. We will be showing again in the discharge area just off the main lobby and on the fifth floor South Tower post-surgery patient area. We have approximately 32 paintings currently hanging at this site.
          This opportunity is open to all members whose membership dues are current. Entries must be original works of art by the submitting artist. 10 % of the proceeds from sale will be donated to the Overlake Hospital Foundation. Displays change approximately 3 times per year.
          To be considered for this display, email (1) a copy of the NWWS Release and (2)Overlake Hospital forms and (3) an image of the painting you plan to hang to charnabe@aol.com by March 3, 2012. You may also print the forms and send along with a picture of the artwork by mail by the same deadline to:

          You must follow the rules and release form directions to be considered. We expect to let you know which works are accepted shortly after the cut off entry date.
We welcome volunteers to help with this hanging project on date of hang (8:30 am to noon). If you are interested please contact Charlene Burley.

          Members currently hanging art will need to be at the hospital on March 25, 2012 at  9:00 to 10:00 am to pick up their artwork.  Dropping off work to be hung will be 10:00 to 11:00 am March 25,2012 (same day). 

           There are 2 release forms, both required. One for NWWS and one for Overlake Hospital. 
Future Hangs at Overlake will be July 29, 2012 and mid-Nov,2012.
