It is once again time to change the paintings hanging at Overlake Hospital. This will take place Sunday, August 1, 2010.
Members of the Northwest Watercolor Society are encouraged to display their art in this well visited venue. We will be showing again in the discharge area just off the main lobby and on the fifth floor patient area, as well as the fifth floor of the Medical Tower Building. We have approximately 40 paintings currently hanging at this site.
This opportunity is open to all members whose membership dues are current. Entries must be original works of art by the submitting artist. 10 % of the proceeds from sale will be donated to the Overlake Hospital Foundation. Displays change approximately 3 times per year.
To be considered for this display, email a copy of the Rules and Release form and an image of the painting you plan to hang to charnabe@aol.com by July 19, 2010. You may also print the form and send along with a picture of the artwork by mail by the same deadline (July 19, 2010) to:

You must follow the rules and release form directions to be considered.
We expect to let you know which works are accepted by July 21, 2010.
We welcome volunteers to help with this hanging project on August 1st (8:30 am to noon). If you are interested please contact Charlene Burley.
Members currently hanging art will need to be at the hospital on August 1, 2010 at 9:00 to 10:00 am to pick up their artwork. Dropping off work to be hung will be 10:00 to 11:00 am August 1.
